Carlos Pena connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the Burbank Tigers
topped the California Gangsta Luv in 10 innings by a score of 7 to 6 at the
ballpark.
The score was tied at 6 after nine. Finally, Burbank pulled the game out in
the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Luis Matos drew a walk. Jose
Guillen stepped into the batter's box and he stroked a base-hit. Matt Lecroy
then ripped a base-knock scoring the run. Burbank and California each
finished the afternoon with 12 hits.
The victory was credited to Esteban Yan(2-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Danys Baez(2-4) was tagged with the loss in relief. He
surrendered 4 hits and 1 walk in 2 and 1/3 innings.
